|Bootlegger Half Marathon & 4 Miler
Come celebrate the beginning of summer in the South with a great themed race. This is the 2nd year, and we've got a new name, and we've worked out all the kinks. Both events will start and finish at the Georgia Racing Hall of Fame. Participants will have the opportunity to tour the museum before and after the race. This inaugural event is expected to sell out early, so don't put off registration.
Pacing, Finishing, & Timing
In order to maintain a safe course, the course will officially close at 10:30 am (3 1/2 hours after race start). Any participants still on the course will need to move to the sidewalks
Awards for the 4 Miler will be given out at 8:45 am, and the 1/2 marathon at 9:30 am. All finishers of the Half & 4 miler will receive custom finisher medals. Special awards to overall man and woman, as well as the overall master's man & woman (40 yrs+). Awards will also be handed out to the top 3 in each 5 year age group starting at 19 & under (10 & under for the 4 Miler) and going through 65 years & older.
Shirts & Goodies

Adopt a Spartan!
The deployed army soldiers at Camp
Phoenix in Afghanistan are doing a shadow run of the Bootlegger 4
Miler. They are doing this for Free the day before our race here. We
would like to send them a race shirt. Please help us do this by
purchasing a shirt for a SPARTAN!
