The primary beneficiary of this race is Friends of Dawson County Parks, which provides scholarships to children to participate in sports that might not other wise get a chance to do so.

Dena Cyr is the Director of Operations of Operation Bootcamp North Georgia and a USATF certified coach. She has completed 11 marathons to include with her Running Coach certification.
