portion of the entry fees has been earmarked for the Gilmer County Park
& Recreation Dept, the Gilmer County Swim Team, as well as other
local Non Profits offering volunteer support for the event.The Inaugural Three Rivers Super Sprint Triathlon is a three event race consisting of a swim, a bike, and a run. The event is open to children and adults, with the distances being dependent on the age of the participant. The Triathlon is part of a five Triathlon event series taking place throughout North Georgia and over the entire summer.

Flat run course and very gentle rolling hills on bike course
- Primary beneficiary is Gilmer County Parks and Recreation Department
- Early packet pick-up on Friday from 4-7 pm at Civic Center
- Adult Swim starts at 8 am and Child (13 & younger) starts at 10:30
