Virtual Race Option

Can't make it out to the event site on race day? 
Still want to participate and have a shot at an award?
Then the virtual race is for you.

Here's how it works:

1. Register for the Virtual division
2. Start Training
3. The week of the event you'll recieve your bib via email or USPS.
4. The day before the race you'll recieve instructions & a link to submit your race time
5. Sumbit your race time by end of race day
6. The day after the race results (Virtual Runner division) will be posted online
7.Monday after the race you'll recieve an email with a link to the results & any pictures.
8. Monday after the race we'll package up all the T-shirts & medals and put them in the mail.


If you ever find yourself tapping the side of your head trying to remember, we've got a fun event for you.

The inaugural Memory Jog 5K is going to be a throw back to the 60'& 70's (remember those...LOL).

It's doubly symbolic because the event proceeds are going to Operation GroundHUG & The Wander Project.

We'll be starting & finishing at the Kids R' Kids in Johns Creek, and we've got Super Soft shirts for the racers, as well as award medals for the Overalls, Masters, Grand Masters, Senior Masters, and all the regular 5 year age groups.

Race free! ... The event is a fundraiser for Operation GroundHUG & the Wander Project, and with that in mind, every participant has the opportunity to raise money through donations and receiving pledges.  Any participant who raises$150 or more will have their race entry fees refunded.

We're working had to get loads of good stuff to give away.  Here's where we're at so far:

  • 3 Executive Packages from Executive Car Wash & Lube
  • Free Food for all participants at Chick-fil-A

Event Beneficiary

Proceeds will go to Operation GroundHUG, The Wander Project and Alzheimer's research. 

Operation GroundHUG is a local charity that inspires young people to get involved on the 'ground level' to connect with seniors and show them we care. Kids + Seniors = Awesome Memories!

The Wander Project is a project to help families with members diagnosed with Alzheimer's or other dementia that might wander away from home.

Five Star Turkey Trot & Championships

If you're coming get some bonus events!

All participants will receive FREE entry into the 2018 Five Star Turkey Trot. 
Top finishers will also earn a qualifying spot in the Five Star 5K Championships. See for full details.

Event Courtesy & Refund Policy

Our events are designed to be fun and for the entire family. With that in mind any competitor, spectator, parent, volunteer, or sponsor, exhibiting unsportsmanlike conduct or interfering with the positive, competitive atmosphere of the event will be asked to leave the venue and course immediately with no refunds.

The event will be held rain or shine.  In the event of severe weather making it unsafe for participants, the event will be canceled.  We're sorry, but once you are registered, there are no refunds, transfers, or deferments.
