Race Information

Like Running or Walking?  Love Wine?  This race is for you!


Join us on Sunday, April 16th, 2023 at 11:30am EST for an exciting new event that features the scenic views of Living Water Winery & Vineyard and offers a great assortment of locally produced wines!  With extra swag options for all wine lovers, walkers and runners, this race is a sure thing for a great time!  This race is timed and scored by J3 Timing.  Results will be posted at www.J3Timing.com.

  • T-shirt:  Super Soft Ring Spun Cotton t-shirt included!

  • Wine Glass: Shatterproof, Collapsible, and Portable!

  • Finisher Medal: A bottle stopper, corkscrew, and keychain lanyard all in one!

  • Race Bib: Chip timed 5k run/walk

  • Results Posted Online

  • ...and of course, a pour of wine!

Course Information

The course starts and finishes at the Winery!  This is a cross country style course and has some significant hills and inclines along the route.  The course is definitely suitable for runners and walkers but if you are looking for a personal best 5k time this is not the race for you!  Your efforts are highly rewarded though with a finisher medal and glass of wine waiting for you after the breathtaking course views!

Awards and Goodies

This event will be offering Age Group Awards!  In addition to scoring all of the great swag listed above, the top M/F finisher in each age category also receives a custom age group award!


5 Year Categories: 14 & Under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44,. 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80 & Over


Important details:


  • Competitive Runners, please start with the first group to be eligible for an age group award.

  • If your event has wave start times, age group winners must start with the first wave to be eligible for a medal.

  • There will be no age group ceremony.  Please look up your results at www.J3Timing.com after finishing and if you placed top 1 in your category please visit the registration table to pick up your award.

  • Age Group medals will be available for pickup 1 hour after the start of the first wave  - age group awards are only available the day of the event and will not be available for shipment once the event has concluded.

FAQ's


Is the race only for 21+? No, minors are welcome to participate and receive a discounted registration that includes a shirt, medal and bib (these participants will not receive a wine glass or a wine pour).
Are strollers allowed? You are welcome to use a stroller for this event but it is not recommended due to uneven ground on the course and children in strollers can participate for free and do not need to register.
Is walking allowed? Yes Absolutely!  We have as many walkers as we do runners (if not more!)
Is the race dog friendly? Yes, but please make sure your dog is on a leash.

New to Virtual Running?  Here's how it works:

 

Step 1

  • Get excited, grab some friends and buddies to join you!  Sign up and register for the Virtual Event!

 

Step 2

  • Hydrate, grab your buddy (or not) and get ready to get moving!

 

Step 3

  • Get out there and run or walk! You can run at the park, your favorite route in your neighborhood; anywhere you want.   Please remember to social distance & be safe!

 

Step 4

  • HAVE FUN!~

  • Share your distance, a selfie, or a picture along your race route and use the race hashtag:-)

 

Step 5

  • Submit your results online

 

Step 6

  • View your Results Monday after the Event Date.

Event Courtesy and Weather Policy

Our events are designed to be fun for the entire family. With that in mind; any
competitor, spectator, parent, volunteer, or sponsor, exhibiting unsportsmanlike conduct or interfering with the positive, competitive atmosphere of the event will be asked to leave the venue and course immediately with no refunds and be disqualified.

All registrations are final. There are no refunds, deferments, or transfers.

 

Event will take place rain or shine. In the event of extreme weather, we will cancel for the safety of the participants...there are no refunds in this case.

 

Participants that do not show up to race/event forfeit their right to any swag.

 

No COVID-19 Refunds.  If unforeseen circumstances arise due to COVID-19, including any Federal or State Health Emergency, refunds will not be provided. The event will go 100% Virtual & shirts will be shipped to participants.
