Race Information
You've all been waiting and we're happy to announce that Red Hare is BACK for 2021!~ Red Hare's The Still on the Square will be hosting their 2Hazy5K on October 30th with their 2Hazy5 brew! The event will be capped at 400 so sign up sooner than later!
The Red Hare 2Hazy5K will take you through the streets of Marietta Square ending with a Red Hare beer garden celebration featuring live music, food for purchase and a complimentary Finisher Pour (for those 21 & over, non-alcoholic Red Hare Root Beer soda will be available for anyone unable to drink beer). Overall awards will be given to M/F winners and the top 3 in all the usual 5 year age groups 10 & under to 75+. We hope you’ll come run with us!

Can't make race day or missed the cap?? Come join us for the "virtual" event & run on your own or from Red Hare Brewing on Thursday, October 28, 2021 or Friday, October 29, 2021. Virtual participants will receive a finisher glass and (1) complimentary pour. Grab your 2Hazy5K shirt as an additional purchase during registration. Virtual runners may qualify for awards with times submitted by end of day Wednesday, October 27, 2021. Virtual participants must come to a packet pickup to pick up their finisher glass & enjoy the complimentary pour (or more)! If you can't pickup your swag, choose to have it mailed during registration.
Red Hare’s newest venture is ready for you to enjoy. The Still On The Square is located in the heart of our hometown of Marietta, and it offers guests the opportunity to enjoy our delicious craft beverages and some amazing Cuban food. This location is home to a small batch brew system so you can watch us create limited edition craft beers, as well as a reflux still that so that guests can see the distillation of our Red Hare spirits! Additionally, our partnership with the Cuban restaurant Mojitos makes The Still On The Square a great place to hangout!
Red Hare's event beneficiary is Bottleshare.org.
OUR MISSION
Bottleshare is a fundraising and fund distribution nonprofit organization for the craft beverage
industry. The group raises money through various collaborations and partnerships within the
community, and the generous support of donors and sponsors. Bottleshare then grants
emergency financial assistance to brewery, winery, and distillery businesses and workers who
have experienced extreme hardships that prevent them from working and producing an
income.
GRANT PROGRAMS
Believe in Beer Relief Fund
In 2020, we created the ‘Believe in Beer’ Relief Fund to directly support breweries and state
guilds impacted by the coronavirus pandemic. The fund was made available to breweries and
guilds who required immediate financial assistance through a grant fund application process.
2021 Believe in Beer grant program coming soon.

Participants that are registered by 10/24 are guaranteed a great race shirt in their size. Registrations after that will receive a shirt while supplies last.

Not interested in running, but want to enjoy the beer garden after the race, complete with (2) pours and a Souvenir Glass? Then get your Beer Garden pass for $15! You can add it on to a friends registration or purchase it by itself (they'll charge you a processing fee if it's the only thing you get).

Event Cap
It's important that we're able to park everyone, have adequate finisher pint glasses, and most importantly…enough beer! The event is capped at 400 participants. Based on previous year registrations, we expect the race to sell out so register early to guarantee your spot and beer!

We're just outside of Atlanta in beautiful Marietta, and there's not much that anyone can call flat & fast. It's a great course around the square finishing up at Red Hare's The Still on the Square!

Get out there and run or walk! You can run at the park, your favorite route in your neighborhood; anywhere you want. Please remember to social distance & be safe!

Event Courtesy and Weather Policy
Our events are designed to be fun for the entire family. With that in mind; any
competitor, spectator, parent, volunteer, or sponsor, exhibiting unsportsmanlike conduct or interfering with the positive, competitive atmosphere of the event will be asked to leave the venue and course immediately with no refunds and be disqualified.
All registrations are final. There are no refunds, deferments, or transfers.
Event will take place rain or shine. In the event of extreme weather, we will cancel for the safety of the participants...there are no refunds in this case.
Participants that do not show up to race/event forfeit their right to any swag.
No COVID-19 Refunds. If unforeseen circumstances arise due to COVID-19, including any Federal or State Health Emergency, refunds will not be provided. The event will go 100% Virtual & shirts will be shipped to participants.
