Race Information
We are celebrating National Best Friends Day a little early this year, so grab your Buddies and head over to Rock Creek Park in Dawsonville. On March 4th you'll have a chance to run as a team with your best friend (or friends) by participating in the Grab Your Squad Jog 5K. Great race shirt, everyone runs as a team and we'll have awards for the top 3 fastest all men's team, all women's team, mixed teams, and a bunch of others. It's dog friendly so you can bring your pooch. We'll have music, finish line food, and loads of great stuff will be waiting for you after you finish a super fast 5K course.
-Beneficiary-
The primary beneficiary is the Dawson County 4H.
You can also bring your squad, and raise some funds for you favorite charitable organization. Just reach out to us about joining in, and we can make your organization a listed charity, and you can get pledges for them.
Raise Money & Race for Free: We're raising money for 4H, and with that in mind, you have a chance to race for free. Just use your pledge page to gather donations, and once you hit $150, we'll refund you your entry fee.

Registration
Everyone registers individually, but you must be on a team in order to participate. Your team can be as big as you want. Each team member is $25, and participants that are registered by 2/16 are guaranteed a race shirt in their size. Registrations after that will receive a shirt while supplies last. Race day registrations are welcome for $5 additional.

5K: $25
5K-No Swag: $20
Virtual 5K: $20 (registration closes 2/25)
Have a dog that likes to run? You can bring your pooch to run the 5K with you if you want. Please be sure to clean up after your pet, keep them on a leash, and in your lane.

Awards and Goodies
We have awards in the following categories: All Male Team, All Female Team, Mixed Male & Female Team. Awards will be based on the average finish time of all team members (minimum 2).

Get excited, grab some friends and buddies to join you! Sign up and register for the Virtual Event!
Step 2

Hydrate, grab your buddy (or not) and get ready to get moving!
Step 3

Get out there and run or walk! You can run at the park, your favorite route in your neighborhood; anywhere you want. Please remember to social distance & be safe!

HAVE FUN!~

Share your distance, a selfie, or a picture along your race route and use the race hashtag:-)

Event Courtesy and Weather Policy
Our events are designed to be fun for the entire family. With that in mind; any
competitor, spectator, parent, volunteer, or sponsor, exhibiting unsportsmanlike conduct or interfering with the positive, competitive atmosphere of the event will be asked to leave the venue and course immediately with no refunds and be disqualified.

All registrations are final. There are no refunds, deferments, or transfers.
Event will take place rain or shine. In the event of extreme weather, we will cancel for the safety of the participants...there are no refunds in this case.
Participants that do not show up to race/event forfeit their right to any swag.
No COVID-19 Refunds. If unforeseen circumstances arise due to COVID-19, including any Federal or State Health Emergency, refunds will not be provided. The event will go 100% Virtual & shirts will be shipped to participants.
