Race Information
Get energized for an in-Person and Virtual Run / Walk benefiting the AEE Foundation Educational Scholarships in energy management, energy engineering and sustainability!
Help us celebrate World Energy Efficiency Day by joining us at Technology Park in Peachtree Corners, GA, for a 5K, music, and brew. All proceeds will benefit the AEE Scholarship Program that awards scholarships to students studying energy management, energy engineering, and sustainability.
All registered participants will receive a commemorative shirt, (1) complimentary finisher pour from our host Anderby Brewing & a chance at awards! We will have awards for the Top 3 Overall M/F, Masters & 5 year Age Groups.
If you can’t make it in-person on race day, we encourage you to support the foundation by participating virtually! Run or walk when and where you want and submit your time by the end of race day.
Event Presenter
The Association of Energy Engineers® (AEE®) founded in 1977 by Albert Thumann, is a nonprofit professional society of over 18,000 members in more than 100 countries. The mission of AEE is “to promote the scientific and educational interests of those engaged in the energy industry and to foster action for Sustainable Development.”
Event Beneficiary
The Foundation of the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE) is a 501©(3) non-profit organization created in 1983 to encourage qualified scholars in energy management, energy engineering, and sustainability to further education in those fields. Participants that are registered by 2/27/22 are guaranteed a great race shirt in their size. Registrations after that will receive a shirt while supplies last.

Awesome shirts guaranteed to all participants registered by 2/27. Registrations after that will receive shirts while supplies last.

Virtual 5K:
Run & submit your time by end of race day 3/5/22 to get a shot at awards in the virtual event. All virtual packages will automatically ship out the Monday after race day.

Hydrate, grab your buddy (or not) and get ready to get moving!
Step 3

Get out there and run or walk! You can run at the park, your favorite route in your neighborhood; anywhere you want. Please remember to social distance & be safe!

Share your distance, a selfie, or a picture along your race route and use the race hashtag:-)

View your Results Monday after the Event Date.
Event Courtesy and Weather Policy
Our events are designed to be fun for the entire family. With that in mind; any
competitor, spectator, parent, volunteer, or sponsor, exhibiting unsportsmanlike conduct or interfering with the positive, competitive atmosphere of the event will be asked to leave the venue and course immediately with no refunds and be disqualified.
All registrations are final. There are no refunds, deferments, or transfers.
Event will take place rain or shine. In the event of extreme weather, we will cancel for the safety of the participants...there are no refunds in this case.
Participants that do not show up to race/event forfeit their right to any swag.
No COVID-19 Refunds. If unforeseen circumstances arise due to COVID-19, including any Federal or State Health Emergency, refunds will not be provided. The event will go 100% Virtual & shirts will be shipped to participants.
