Race Information
Cold crisp mornings are a regular thing…come by Rock Creek to watch a beautiful sunrise and enjoy a Flat & Fast 5K/10K
The Java Jog 5K/10K is a 5K out-and-back course. The 10K athletes do it twice. Those caffeine-junky Espresso Challenge athletes do the 5K then the 10K, making it a 15K morning!
The 5K, starting at 8:00 AM & the 10K will start at 8:30 AM. We'll have Finisher Medals, a Long Sleeve Shirt, and great awards for the Top 3 Overall M/F, Top 3 Overall Masters M/F, Top 3 Overall Grand Master M/F, Top 3 Overall Senior Master M/F, and the Top 3 in the 5 year age groups (10 & under - 75+). What a great way to start the day with a RUN & DEFINITELY COFFEE!
If you think you’re up to it…try the Espresso Challenge. It’s the 5K then the 10K. You’ll have a shot at both sets of awards as you complete 15 total Kilometers.

The charity partner for the Java Jog 5K/10K is NoaStrong.
Noa Ramirez, at 16-months old, was diagnosed with Leukemia.
She has a long road to recovery that will include weekly treatments for the first 6 months and then monthly treatments for the next 2 years. Between these treatments and Lucas’s job as a Dawson County firefighter, Kaleigh has had to stop working for the time being so that she can care for her daughter. Any donation will be greatly appreciated!
Both Kaleigh and Lucas are always the first to step in and help others when needed and now it is our turn to help them.
Please keep Noa and the entire Ramirez family in your prayers as they begin to navigate this journey.

Hydrate, grab your buddy (or not) and get ready to get moving!

Get out there and run or walk! You can run at the park, your favorite route in your neighborhood; anywhere you want. Please remember to social distance & be safe!

Event Courtesy and Weather Policy
Our events are designed to be fun for the entire family. With that in mind; any
competitor, spectator, parent, volunteer, or sponsor, exhibiting unsportsmanlike conduct or interfering with the positive, competitive atmosphere of the event will be asked to leave the venue and course immediately with no refunds and be disqualified.
All registrations are final. There are no refunds, deferments, or transfers.
Event will take place rain or shine. In the event of extreme weather, we will cancel for the safety of the participants...there are no refunds in this case.
Participants that do not show up to race/event forfeit their right to any swag.
No COVID-19 Refunds. If unforeseen circumstances arise due to COVID-19, including any Federal or State Health Emergency, refunds will not be provided. The event will go 100% Virtual & shirts will be shipped to participants.
