Race Information
It's never too early to start thinking ahead!
We're starting 2026 the only way we know how, with a race! After you ring in the New Year, take a nap then come out, and join us and RUN (or walk) into the New Year! We're putting on the #NYD5K or #NYD5K&HALFMARATHON.
We thought it would be appropriate to kiss 2025 goodbye, and are offering the NYD5K and #NYDHALFMARATHON for just $25! We'll have the same great course, music & an awesome Finisher Medal! Make sure you're registered, as we'll only be offering Finisher Medals for the first 500 participants (we ran out last year!). We'll have shirts as an additional purchase for $25.
If you're not ready to be out & about, join us for the virtual 5K, OR virtual Half Marathon & we will ship you your swag (continental US only; lower 48 states)! Virtual participants will receive a Finisher Medal and shot at awards! Purchase your commemorative NYD 2025 shirt for just $25.

We'll have awards in the following categories:
**Special notes about courses to help keep you going the correct way.
For events with multiple distances: If a sign isn't marked with a specific distance, it applies to everyone.
Be careful about listening or following other participants...If they're confused or going the wrong way, you will be another person going the wrong way.
Don't follow the pack...follow the signs.
Courses are not complicated, but they do require that participants look for the signage.
Don't make guesses like "this can't be the U-turn, it doesn't feel far enough.
Review the course before the race if your not familiar with the area.
Be warry about wearing earbuds, they have a tendency to distract people when navigating a course.
Use the Racejoy app. It will tell you if you go off course.
Water Stations
We will have water stations approximately every 1.5 miles
