Race Information
Come join us for a beautiful sunrise run in Headland, AL! This is our 53rd Harvest Festival and the 17th year of our 5k and Fun Run! This mostly flat course is easy and enjoyable for all age groups. All of our participants receive unique handmade scarecrow trophies that are crafted by our High School Ag Department, and with the funds raised from the 5K, we make an annual donation to our High School Cross Country Team.
5K Registrants receive a T- Shirt and a Swag Bag full of Harvest Day merchandise.
In addition to the 5K, the Street Dance will be on the Square Friday night the 11th and the other Harvest Day activities will begin on the Square at 9am.
The 5K will begin and end at Headland High School 8 Sporman St. Headland, AL 36345, with all other activities being held on the Square.
Fun Run registration is for children ages 12 and below and is $10. They will receive a swag bag but not a T-Shirt.
5K pre-registration will be $25 through Friday, September 13th and will be $30 September 14th through the morning of the event. T-Shirt sizes are only guaranteed through September 13th. We order extras and they are given to the registrants on a first come first serve basis. They will be available to the same day registrants as well if we have their size.
Everyone receives a participation trophy and awards are given to the top male and female winners of the following categories: Masters (40+) , Grand Masters (50+) , Senior Grand Masters (60+) , Top Runners overall

Get out there and run or walk! You can run at the park, your favorite route in your neighborhood; anywhere you want. Please remember to social distance & be safe!

Event Courtesy and Weather Policy
Our events are designed to be fun for the entire family. With that in mind; any
competitor, spectator, parent, volunteer, or sponsor, exhibiting unsportsmanlike conduct or interfering with the positive, competitive atmosphere of the event will be asked to leave the venue and course immediately with no refunds and be disqualified.
All registrations are final. There are no refunds, deferments, or transfers.
Event will take place rain or shine. In the event of extreme weather, we will cancel for the safety of the participants...there are no refunds in this case.
Participants that do not show up to race/event forfeit their right to any swag.
No COVID-19 Refunds. If unforeseen circumstances arise due to COVID-19, including any Federal or State Health Emergency, refunds will not be provided. The event will go 100% Virtual & shirts will be shipped to participants.
